STEVE DREYER age 54, beloved husband for 25 years of Jean (nee Orehek); loving father of Carolyn and Nathan; cherished son of Fred and Georgia (nee Sulc); treasured son-in-law of Al and Betty Orehek; dearest brother of Jodi Arther (husband Marty); dear uncle of Eric and Evan, cousin and nephew of many.

Steve Dreyer was born on April 29, 1963 and passed away on January 8, 2018. He was resident of Willoughby Hills for 23 years. Steve attended Chardon High School and later graduated from Bowling Green University. He worked many years as a self-employed Accountant. Steve was an active member of St. John of the Cross for 25 years. He enjoyed ushering, being a Eucharistic minister, men’s group member and volunteering for the church rummage sale. Steve was involved with St. Ignatius Father’s Club, AA, and was a CYO basketball coach. He loved to play racquetball at the Westend YMCA and listen to rock music. Steve found the most enjoyment in his family, racquetball with friends, and coaching basketball. He also looked forward to special family functions like Thanksgiving turkey dinner. He will be remembered as outgoing, family oriented, and he loved a good party.  Steve will be missed dearly by many.

Contributions may be made in memory of Steve to St. John of the Cross Church.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church 140 Richmond Rd, Euclid, OH 44143. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Steve at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
