STEPHEN A. SHEPARD, age 92 went into the arms of his Lord in Heaven on April 10, 2010 in Boca Raton, FL, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 63 years of Cecelia M. (nee Matis). Loving father of Clifford S. (wife Colleen) of Boca Raton, FL, Allan T. (wife Patricia) of Wilmington, DE and Cynthia Shepard Busch (husband Lawrence) of Ligonier, PA. Devoted grandfather of Christopher Charles Shepard and Stephen Patrick Shepard, Sara Busch Whetzel (husband James), Ryan Shepard Busch, MD and James Lawrence Busch. Cherished brother of the late Harry, Cecelia Martin and Mary Rich. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Steve was a Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Cleveland Council #733; Fourth Degree Moses Cleaveland Gen. Assembly; Order of Alhambra Carmona Caravan #75 and Order of Forresters-St Aloyisius Court. He retired from Warner and Swasey Company after 43 years of service.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Steve’s honor to Hospice By The Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Dr. Boca Raton, FL 33486.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Steve at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
