STANLEY V. PENKO age 88, beloved husband for 63 years of Jeanette “Jean” (nee Zeman); loving father of James (wife Mary), Ronald, Robert (wife Tammy), Diane Smith (husband Ronald), and Linda Capaldi (husband James Jr. “Butch”); devoted grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 4; cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Kapel); dearest brother of Charles (wife Marie) and the late Joseph (wife Eileen) and Emil (wife Phyllis); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.
Stanley was born on May 20, 1929 and passed away on January 9, 2018. He was a parishioner of St. John of the Cross Parish, formerly St. Felicitas Catholic Church and belonged to many organizations including SNPJ, AMLA, and Euclid Veterans Association. Stanley graduated from Collinwood High School and proudly work as an electrician for 42 years at Lincoln Electric. He enjoyed playing the accordion, golf, and was a dedicated Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan. Stanley was a wonderful husband, terrific father, and a gentle soul. He was hardworking and devoted to his family with a quiet sense of humor. Stanley will be dearly missed by all.

Prayers of Christian Burial Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:30 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Stanley at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
