Stanley Skrbis

STANLEY SKRBIS, age 76; beloved husband for 50 years of Maria (nee Simicak); loving father of Stanley (wife Diana), Robert (wife Karen) and Danny (wife Michelle); devoted grandfather of Stanley and Katherine, Hannah and Roby, and Sophia and Emma; dearest son of the late Ivan and Amalija (nee Strojn); cherished brother of Malci “Amy” Kvasni (husband Mike).

Mr. Skrbis died on Thursday at Richmond Heights Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a long time resident of Richmond Heights and spent winters in Florida. He was a member of Štajerski & Prekmorski Klub for 50 years. Stan was the retired owner/operator of Apollo Plastics/Skrbis Tool & Die. He was determined, hard-working, generous and dedicated. He especially liked making his grandchildren happy. He was always proud to provide for his family and spend time with them. Stan loved fishing, hunting, gardening and Toby.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church (Holmes Ave.) at 10 AM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Stanley at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
