Stanley Mincek

STANLEY W. MINCEK age 78, beloved husband for 52 years of Janet E. (nee Bittner); loving father of Mark and Michelle Ecker (husband Dennis); cherished son of the late Frank S. and Mary J. (nee Pirmek); dearest brother of Rosemarie Postich (husband Sal, deceased), Frank Mincek (wife Mary Alice), Barbara Rush (husband Guy, deceased) and the late Edward Mincek, Margaret Hunter (husband Richard, deceased), and Frances Buxbaum (husband James).

Stanley W. Mincek was born on August 25, 1941 Somerset, Pennsylvania and passed away on May 7, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his early childhood education in Pennsylvania, and graduated from Euclid High School in Euclid, Ohio after moving with his family. Stan proudly served in the United States Army, and continued a life of service to others by serving as a firefighter for the city of Euclid for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, listening to country music, and watching and attending sporting events. However, being with family and friends is what truly gave Stan the most enjoyment in life. He loved having the family together, whether it be for a holiday or birthday. Stan was a man who really cared about his family, and for that he will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Stan on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 9:30–10:30 AM at Ss Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E 260th St, Euclid, OH 44132.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM.

Burial will take place at 2:15 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
