Stanislav Kozelj

STANISLAV “STANLEY” KOZELJ age 76, beloved husband for 38 years of Anka (nee Koren); loving father of Irene Begovic, Melanie Koltiska (husband Dan), and John (wife Genevieve); devoted grandfather of 5; cherished son of the late Ivan and Marija (nee Hrovat); dearest brother of Marija Rot (husband Adolf, deceased), Anton (wife Marija), France (wife Toncka), and the late Joze and Janez; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

After 6 years of struggles with dementia, Stanley passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Stanley was born on October 9, 1943, in Vas Hocevje Slovenia, and emigrated to the United States in 1971. He was extremely hardworking, and before retiring, he worked at Pako for 27 years. In his free time, Stanley enjoyed gardening, however it was his family that gave him the most enjoyment in life. He will be dearly missed.
