STANISLAV “STANE’ KODRIN

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanislav “Stane” Kodrin, 88, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday January 23, 2016 at St. Vitus Church 6019 Lausche Ave. Cleveland, OH 44103 followed by burial in All Souls Cemetery Chardon, OH.

Mr. Kodrin passed away Tuesday at the Slovene Home for the Aged in Cleveland, OH. Born in Loka pri Zusmu, Slovenia, he was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 45 years. He retired from Cleveland Twist Drill as a tool maker and was a member of Slovenska Pristava Pensioners and the Stajerski Klub.

Survivors are his sons Sylvester (Terry) and Stanislaus ; grandchildren Keith, Matthew and Kevin (Lisa) Kodrin, Sara (Scott) Kuecher, Donnie and Ricky Maz; great-grandchildren Lillie, Jack, Mason, Dylan, Hailey, Patrick and Charlie and sister Martina Kovacic. He was preceded in death by his wife Karoline (nee Izak); daughter-in-law Joanne and siblings Maria Straus, Franika Kodrin, Toncka Letonja, Ema Sajn and Vera Uzman (all of Slovenia).

Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Zevnik-Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills.

Family suggests memorial contributions in his name to the Slovene Home for the Aged 18621 Neff Rd. Cleveland, OH 44119.
