SISTER MARY BRADY, SND, (formerly Sister Mary Peter) 89. Beloved daughter of the late Bernard S. and Mary Gertrude (nee Schroeter) Brady and sister of deceased Peter, Nancy Hoiberg and Katherine Dolesh. Loving sister of James (Patricia), aunt to many nieces and nephews and sister to the congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame with whom she shared her life for 69 years.

Sister Mary (formerly Sister Mary Peter) went home to God, peacefully and quietly very early on Sunday, December 29, at the Notre Dame Health Care Center, Chardon, Ohio. Sister was born June 30, 1924, in Cleveland, and was known for her loving and welcoming spirit especially to the Notre Dame Associates, those she met through hospice ministry and her high school students in Ohio and Virginia. With her smile and gentle manner, Sister Mary reached out to and embraced all she met.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Notre Dame Education Center, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024. with the burial immediately following. Friends may call at the Center on THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., with a special prayer service at 7:00 p.m., and on FRIDAY from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Sisters of Notre Dame.
