Sr. Mary Alice Dugar, Snd

Sister Mary Alice (formerly Sister Mary St. Benedict) was welcomed into eternal life Wednesday, March 24, at 11:25 p.m. Sister was a high school science and chemistry teacher for over twenty years but found that her greatest strength was ministering as a tutor and mentor for college students with diverse ethnic, cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. She was a dedicated member of the SND Peace and Justice Committee since its founding in 1980 and worked with quiet determination to teach respect and good stewardship of the Earth and all its resources. With grace and graciousness, she met the challenges of a cancer diagnosis of just two months ago.

May Sister rejoice in the unconditional love of our good and provident God.

The Memorial Mass for Sister Mary Alice will be on Wednesday, April 7, at 4:00 p.m. It will be live streamed.
