Sr. Jeanmarie Dechant, Snd

Our dear Sister Jeanmarie was welcomed into eternal life at 12:38 a.m. on Saturday, July 7. Although she began her teaching career in elementary and high school, Sister is most noted, remembered and loved for her ministry at Notre Dame College in the field of chemistry. Her kindness and skill in teaching instilled confidence in her students to succeed in science, medicine, research and industry. She was a woman of prayer who cherished her community, her large family, her many friends and students—all she touched each day. May Sister Jeanmarie know the joy and peace of eternal life!

The wake will be on Wednesday, July 11, from 2-4 and 6:30-8:30 at Notre Dame Education Center, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon with the prayer service at 6:30, and on Thursday from 9:30-10:45. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, at the Center on July 12, at 11:00 am. The burial will be private.  ARRANGEMENTS BY DEJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME.
