Sr. Anne Joan, O.C.D.

SR. ANNE JOAN OF THE TRINITY, O.C.D., (formerly Anne J. Boyle), member of the Carmelite Sisters for 67 years, cherished daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette (nee Conrad) Boyle, dearest sister of the following (all deceased): Mary R. Walsh (husband William), Dorothy A. Boyle and Helen L. O’Malley (husband Bert), loving aunt of Robert Walsh (wife Kim), Amy Walsh and Joanne (husband Garry Nokes), fond great-aunt.

Sister Anne Joan served as prioress of the Carmel for four terms, during one of which she directed the renovation of the monastery chapel in 1992. For over 20 years she headed the insurance work the Carmel formerly did for the Diocese of Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Carmel of the Holy Family, 2541 Arlington Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH 44118. Mass of Christian Burial will be held when it is safe to gather. Private burial in Calvary Cemetery.
