SR. ANITA OF JESUS, OCD. (formerly Ann Helene Wasserman), aged 82 years, member of Carmel of the Holy Family, beloved daughter of the late Edmund and Margaret (nee Anderson) Wasserman, cherished sister of Carol Sommers, Cappy (formerly Fr. John of the Cross, OCSO) (deceased), Gretchen Goldsworthy (deceased) (husband Ralph) and Robert Wasserman (wife Kay), loving aunt and grand-aunt to many. Sr. Anita was a Sister to the Carmelite Sisters with whom she shared 62 years of her life. She was directed to the Cleveland Carmel by a close family friend, Thomas Merton. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Carmel of the Holy Family, 3176 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44118. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the Chapel of the Carmelite Monastery at 10 AM. Burial following in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends will be received to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Sr. Anita at the Carmelite Monastery on WEDNESDAY FROM 4-8 PM.
