Slavko A. “Stan” Teskac, age 67, of Chesterland, Ohio, passed away on April 24, 2025. He was the cherished son of the late Terezija (nee Kurbos) and Anton Teskac. Stan leaves behind his loving family, including his sister Annie Sterle, brother Felix, nephew Frank Sterle (wife Dakota), niece Danielle Runco (husband Mark), his aunt and uncle Ancka & Feliks Kurbos, his cousins and friends, as well as his longtime friend Vida Tripodo.
Born on July 17, 1957, in Leut, Belgium, Stan moved to Cleveland in 1969 and most recently resided in Chesterland. He was a St. Joseph High School graduate in 1975 and attended Cleveland State University. He was an accomplished businessman and a gifted musician who touched the lives of many. For nearly four decades, Stan proudly owned and operated European Classics, earning a well-deserved reputation for his unmatched craftsmanship, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail in the repair industry of luxury vehicles.
Stan’s love for music was a defining aspect of his life. From a young age, he exhibited an exceptional talent for playing the accordion, a skill he honed and shared throughout his lifetime. As a founding member of the Alpine Sextet, Stan devoted many years to entertaining the Cleveland Slovenian community, bringing joy and warmth through his music. His ability to connect with others through his performances left a lasting impact, so much so that his accordion playing can still be heard in the German Pavilion in Epcot at Disney World.
Stan will be remembered for his remarkable musical talent, sharp wit, unwavering devotion to family, and legacy of excellence in both business and music, leaving a lasting inspiration on all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Stan to St. Augustine Hunger Center, 1400 Howard Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113.
