Sister Mary Roman was welcomed into eternal life on Wednesday, January 13. Sister would have celebrated her Jubilee of Joy, 75 years of religious profession, this summer. After teaching in elementary and secondary schools, Sister dedicated her life to the service of others as a nurse. She used her gifts and talents as a staff nurse with direct patient care; as an instructor at three different schools of nursing; and as coordinator and consultant for the health and well-being of the sisters in the Chardon province for more than thirty years. Her expertise was known and respected by the sisters and in the wider civic community. Sister Mary Roman was a woman of prayer who especially loved and prayed for, with great gratitude, each person God had put into her life. May she delight in the fullness of Life!

The private Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 22, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. James Caddy as celebrant. The Mass will be live streamed.
