In Memoriam: Sister Mary François Zappone 1923–2014

Our dear Sister Mary Francois was welcomed into eternal life December 4 at 7:50 a.m. Often called “the walking St. Julie,” Sister ministered at Julie Billiart School from 1955 until 2008—53 years! Sister Mary Francois died as she lived, quietly and peacefully. The wake will be on Tuesday, December 9, from 2–4 and 7–9 with the special prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 10, at 10:00 a.m. This will make it possible for the entire Julie Billiart School community to be present.

May Sister rejoice as she is now embraced by our loving God!
