When she wasn’t teaching, she was often showcasing her talents at the East Cleveland Theater, as well as many other theatres, or being a DJ on 91.5 WKHR. In her free time, she enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, reading, traveling, golf, bowling, sewing, literature with a love of Shakespeare, and listening to music. She had a deep connection with God and attended many episocpal churches both in Ohio and Florida. Her three kids and two grandchildren will remember her as a sweet, generous, positive, and optimistic person. Shirley was truly the definition of, “An angel among us”. She touched the lives of so many and the people that knew her best will carry her lessons with them forever. Shirley was a very special and talented person that will be dearly missed by everyone.
