Sharon Mccrae

SHARON M. McCRAE (nee Zusy), age 67 passed away on April 16, 2015 in Cleveland. Beloved wife for 44 years to Thomas; loving mother of Glenn (wife Elizabeth); devoted daughter of the late George and Ellen Zusy (nee Farley); cherished sister to Kathleen Passow (husband Robert, deceased) and Dennis Zusy (wife Darlene); dearest sister-in-law of Robert and the late Sandra McCrae; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Sharon was born May 10, 1947 in Cleveland. She has been a resident of Munson for 30 years. Sharon was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon. She graduated from West Geauga High School and attended Kent State University. Sharon worked as a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at St. Mary Elementary School. She loved to go camping with her family on weekends and traveling to Florida and Oklahoma.  She also enjoyed cheering for her local sports teams, listening to music and celebrating all her favorite holidays.  Sharon will be remembered most for her loving and giving nature.

Family suggests contributions may be made in Sharon’s memory to American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd., Suite 440, Independence, OH 44131 or American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106 to help fight Melanoma.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North Street, Chardon at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sharon at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
