SCARLETT ANNE ROSE (nee O’Grady), loving mother of Tara Stefanik (Richard), Ruby Smith, and Alex Rose; devoted grandmother of Devonta, Miles, and Hollis and great-grandmother of DJ; cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (nee Starnes) O’Grady; dearest sister of Maureen Reinagle (Damon), Colleen O’Grady-Shearman (Greg), and the late Patricia O’Grady; devoted aunt of Marda, Shannon, Brad, John, Damon, Grady, and Lycia; and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Scarlett’s memory to the Cleveland area Alzheimer’s Association, 3 Summit Park Drive, # 550, Independence, OH 44131. 

Scarlett was born on April 12, 1944 in Flint, Michigan. She was a graduate of Wickliffe High School and furthered her education at Kent State University and Tri-C. After her schooling, she worked in hospitality management, sales, social work, and construction. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing and traveling. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family, especially Halloween and Christmas. Scarlett will be remembered as an outgoing person who showed great love, care, and generosity to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., at 10 AM. Inurnment following at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
