Sarah Munn

SARAH P. MUNN (nee Peck) age 78, beloved and adored mother of Christi (partner Pamela Mott) and Eric (wife Michelle); loving grandmother of Noah; former wife and companion for 57 years of Bruce; cherished daughter of the late Chapman and Mildred (nee Free) Peck; dearest sister of Robert and Millard Peck; dear aunt of Nancy Mooradian and David Peck.

Sarah was born on December 31, 1938 in Washington, DC and passed away on April 20, 2017. She was a resident of Chesterland, previously residing in Willoughby.  She graduated high school in Milford, OH and from Miami University of Ohio where she was in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.   Sarah was a gifted artist and designer and she brought joy and beauty to all she touched.  She loved those close to her with all her heart, and was a devoted friend and mother.  Sarah could always be counted on to be there for you in your time of need.  A free spirit that loved to meet new people and see new places.  She loved traveling and greatly enjoyed the recent trip to the Panama Canal. Sarah had a dry sense of humor and was very witty. She will be deeply missed. She loved nature and all animals, especially cats.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sarah at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 5-8 PM. Burial Service to take place Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Graceland Memorial Gardens Cemetery 5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150 at 11:30 AM. Family will receive friends from 11-11:30 AM at the Cemetery.
