Sara Steigerwald

SARA M. STEIGERWALD, age 41; treasured daughter of Albert F. and Lois (nee Laven); loving sister of Beth Dixon (husband William B.) and Jill; devoted aunt of Luke; dearest Goddaughter and niece of Delores Cowan; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thanks to Sara’s caregivers, especially Margaret Coleman.

Sara was a resident of University Heights for six years after moving from Lyndhurst. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church and graduated from Beachwood High School. In her free time, she enjoyed writing in her journal, eating out and loved watching movies. She will be fondly remembered by many as a happy, very loving, determined woman who had a mind of her own, was an independent thinker and had a magnetic personality.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions may be made in Sara’s memory to LifeBanc, 4775 Richmond Rd., Cleveland, OH 44128.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday August 30, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst at 12 Noon. Burial will be private. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
