Sandy Wokety

SANDRA J. WOKETY (nee Meteling) age 58, beloved wife for 31 years of William “Bill”; cherished daughter of Betty (nee Nielsen) and the late Floyd Meteling; dearest sister of Susan Meteling; survived by her pets Morgan and Dolce; dear friend of many.

Sandy was born on June 2, 1959 and passed away on September 21, 2017. She was a 31-year resident of Russell previously of South Euclid. Sandy graduated from Orange High School in 1977 and was a homemaker. She loved home improvement projects, including building decks and swimming pools, and could fix anything. She loved her dogs, listening to Motown music, dancing, and gardening. She had a green thumb. Sandy was very independent, funny, witty, a strong negotiator, and an independent thinker with a strong will. She will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sandy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
