Sandra Shuffert

SANDRA "SONDRA" SHUFFERT (nee Cronin) age 81, beloved wife of the late George; mother of Tawnya Harrison, George Shuffert VI, and the late Cathy; grandmother of Dustin Meckley and Skyler; dear daughter of the late Homer and Frieda (nee Neville) Cronin; dearest sister of Louise Lovett and Michael Cronin; loving companion of Bill Elliott; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Sondra was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio graduating from East Liverpool High School. She and her husband George Shuffert owned and operated the Valu-King grocery stores in both Chardon and Middlefield. Sondra's charismatic personality made it a delight to buy from her. She could sell pearls to a mermaid. Sondra was a beautiful woman with a brilliant mind. She lived her life to the fullest, enjoying all the things she loved and faced every struggle with perseverance. She enjoyed shopping especially buying and selling antiques and collectibles. Sondra was able to spend the last years of her life in the care of her loving boyfriend Bill of East Liverpool.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sondra at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) TUESDAY, JULY 30 from 4-7 PM. Reflections and sharing at 6:30 PM. Private Burial at Windsor Cemetery.
