Sandra Meyer

SANDRA LEE MEYER (nee Ruggiero), aged 66 years, beloved wife for 25 years to John T., dearest mother of Nicolette Harper (husband John), fond step-mother to Michelle Sturgill (husband Kevin) and Christopher Meyer (wife Mindy), loving grandmother of Alexandria Harper, Jordan and Adam Sturgill, and Aedyn, Gabe, Alivia and Emme Meyer,
great-grandmother of Ava, cherished daughter of Donna and the late Nicholas Ruggiero, treasured sister of Donna Scott, Mike Ruggiero, Beverly Schilero, Nicholas, Samuel and Rick Ruggiero, devoted aunt and grand-aunt to many.

Mrs. Meyer died September 17, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 25, 1948 in Cleveland. She was a 15 year resident of Mentor-on-the-Lake, previously residing in Mentor. She was a life-long business owner, starting with Sandy’s Pet Grooming in Euclid, and retiring in 2000 as owner/operator of Xanadu Hair Salon and Spa in Mentor. Sandy was a good cook, a master gardener, and an avid bird watcher. The yard at home was a testament to her love and devotion to the landscape and the birds.

Prayers of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial following in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Sandy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on SUNDAY from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
