Sam A. Daher

SAM A. DAHER age 59, beloved husband for 18 years of JoAnn (nee Bystrom); cherished son of Aref and Marie (nee Sayegh); dearest brother of Simon (wife Jennie) and Steve (wife Genna); loving son-in-law of Larry and Kathy (nee Marriott) Bystrom; devoted brother-in-law of Ron and Steve (wife Shannon) Bystrom; dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Survived by his feline companion, Tweeters.

Sam was born in Beirut, Lebanon on August 22, 1964 and immigrated to the United States in 1970.  He graduated from Brush High School in 1983 and received his degree in finance in 1987 from The Ohio State University.  Sam went on to become the Director of Data Analytics for the IT ExchangeNet.  Sam was an avid fan of the Cavs, Cleveland Browns, Indians, and the OSU Buckeyes.  He found great enjoyment in technology, classic rock music and traveling, which included cruises and national parks.  Family describes Sam as quiet, easy going, kind, helpful, dedicated, and selfless with a great sense of humor and love for his cats.  Sam passed away on December 12, 2023 and will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, at 11 AM.

Burial following at Concord Township Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sam at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS on Tuesday at 3-7 PM. Prayers of Incense at 4:30 PM.
