Salvatore J. Montello

SALVATORE J. MONTELLO, age 76. Beloved husband for 50 years of Madeline “Madge” (nee Rose). Loving father of Anthony (deceased), Lisa Haselwood (husband Lance) and Josette (fianc Lew Merletti). Cherished son of the late John and Josephine (nee Fana). Dearest brother of Carmen (wife Rose Marie) and brother-in-law of Al and Nancy Rose, James and the late Cathy Rose. Dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.

Sal was a 32 year resident of Lyndhurst/Pepper Pike and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church for many years. He graduated from Benedictine High School and was the owner/operator of Carmen’s Drapery. Sal loved golf and all songs by Frank Sinatra. His family remembers him as a loving, kind, gentle and generous man who was a great listener and loved Christmas Eve.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment following at All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sal at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 2-5 and 6-8 PM.
