SALLY A. GANNON (nee Salaba) age 93, beloved wife of the late Herbert; loving mother of Barbara Zachary (husband Allen), Patrick, Michael, David, and the late Mary Ellen Osborne and John (companion Robert Lashua); devoted grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 2; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Mary (nee Wargo) Salaba; dearest sister of the late Dorothy Bermingham.

Sally was born on December 5, 1927 in Whiting, Indiana and passed away on October 3, 2021. She was a resident of Richmond Heights since 1983, formerly residing in South Euclid. Sally was a member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church, now St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. She graduated from Whiting High School in Indiana in 1945 and worked as a secretary for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Sally loved Bingo and Jeopardy. She will be remembered most as a simple, practical, quiet, reserved, and very independent woman who loved to laugh. Sally was devoted to her family and her faith, and she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Sally to Cleveland Food Bank.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sally at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
