S. ROBERT ESTEP, passed away on November 13, 2019 at the age of 83. The beloved husband for 57 years to Joan (nee Malcomb), dear father of Cynde Estep, Todd Estep (wife Anissa) and Tina Rihaly (husband James), loving grandfather of Andrew, Tamsyn, Quinn and Caitlin Estep and Tristan Rihaly, cherished brother of Kenneth and Arnold Estep, Phyllis Costill and John Bird, fond uncle and great-uncle.
S. Robert Estep was born January 23, 1936 in Clendenin, West Virginia. He died November 13th, 2019 in Lexington, Kentucky surrounded by his wife and children. Bob retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker with 41 years of service. He and his wife of 57 years raised their children in Willoughby Hills and retired in Upland, Indiana. He enjoyed traveling and taking trips with his family and playing golf. His true passion was flying, which he was able to do for 28 years.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bob on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2-3:30 PM at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 3:30 PM. Pastor Kurt Ziemann of Zion Lutheran Church (Painesville) will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Pickens Cemetery, Pickens, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
