Ruth Reynolds

RUTH J. REYNOLDS (nee Friedel) age 91, beloved wife of the late Thomas; loving mother of Paul, Mary Condon (husband Mark) and the late Anne; devoted grandmother of Gabriel (fiancée Clarissa Prohaska), Matthew, John and Luke Condon; cherished daughter of the late Jay and Gene (nee Hagan) Friedel; dearest sister of the late John “Jack” Friedel; dear aunt and great-aunt.

Ruth was a Cleveland native and resided in Shaker Heights for most of her life. She has been a faithful parishioner of Gesu Catholic Church since 1976. Ruth graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Ursuline College. She was a homemaker and teacher at Harvey Rice Elementary in Cleveland. Ruth enjoyed knitting, needle point and gardening. She loved to cook and bake. Homemaking and decorating gave Ruth great enjoyment in her life. She also was a Cleveland Indians fan. Ruth will be remembered as a woman with a sweet soul. She loved her family and was a very proud grandmother.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to Gesu Church.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June, 1, 2015, in the Marian Chapel at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Hts, OH 44118 at 10 AM. Burial will take place at St Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula, OH. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ruth at THE CHURCH MONDAY MORNING 9-10 AM. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
