Ruth Jones

RUTH C. JONES (nee Bliss) age 93, beloved wife of the late Alwyn; loving mother of Gary and Lynne Long (husband Clayton); devoted grandmother of Christopher (wife Erin), Katherine and Kevin Ensign; cherished daughter of the late Rev. Elmer and Eugenia (nee Stumpf) Bliss; dearest sister of the late Kermit Bliss and Irmgarde Selby; dear aunt of Elaine, Diane, Dale, and Sharon. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the aides from Griswold Home Care, and friends Dorothy Schalk and Mimi Polis, for their assistance that allowed Ruth to live at home until her passing.

Ruth was born April 2, 1925 in Logan and passed away June 27, 2018. She was a resident of Euclid for over 60 years and previously lived in Cleveland. Ruth graduated from Collinwood High School in 1943 and became a Homemaker for her family. She liked bingo, golf and going to Las Vegas. She was very strong and devoted to her faith. Ruth will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Ruth to Shore Haven Lutheran Church, 280 E. 222^nd St., Euclid, OH 44123. Visitation will be held MONDAY, July 2, 2018 from 10-11 AM with  a service to follow at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Burial following at Whitehaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
