Ruth Hood

RUTH J. HOOD (nee Knapp) age 88, beloved wife for 65 years of Richard O.; cherished aunt of Don Christen (wife Linda), Sandy LaMacchia (husband Ron), Jane Christen (husband Al Boryenace) and Terri Bretz (husband Tim); loving daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (nee Fellenstein) Knapp; dearest sister of the late Dorothy Knapp and sister-in-law of the late Ruth Christen (husband Don); dear great aunt and cousin of many.

Born July 4, 1926 in Cleveland, Ruth was a resident of Mentor after moving from Chesterland two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anselm Catholic Church who loved traveling with her husband in their camper to various antique and car shows. She also loved Mickey Mouse and spending time with her dogs. Ruth will be remembered by many for her love to laugh and socialize with other people.
