Ruth Hemry

RUTH E. HEMRY (nee Bornemann) age 90, beloved wife for 67 years to the late Francis W.; loving mother of Timothy W. (wife Cathy), Susan K., and stepmother of Tyrone F. (wife Donna); devoted grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 14; cherished daughter of the late Otto and Clara (nee Dreyer) Bornemann; dear sister of the late Rev. Dr. Robert Bornemann (wife Agnes, deceased); dear aunt and great aunt of many.

Ruth was born on April 10, 1926 in Willoughby and passed away August 30, 2016. Ruth was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a librarian and played in the hand bell choir.  She enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and baking.  Ruth will be remembered as a quiet, faithful, easy going and pleasant person with a great sense of humor. Family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed by hers.

Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 11 AM. Family will receive friends for reception and luncheon immediately following the service. Private burial will take place at Knollwood Cemetery. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
