Ruth F. Sechrist

LUCILLE “RUTH” SECHRIST (nee FRYREAR) age 97; Beloved mother of Ruth Ann Quinn, Florence Petrecca (husband Nick) and the late Delaine Siebert (husband Richard, deceased); devoted grandmother of Steven Quinn (Gina), Anna Snively (husband Richard), Laura Quinn, Dawn Wieder (husband Benny), Rick Siebert (Linda), Leslie Quinn (Jim), Suzonna Zak (husband Ken), Nicole Grzybowski (husband Brian) and Nicholas Petrecca;  great grandmother of 16 and great-great grandmother of 3; cherished daughter of the late Henry and Zona (nee Webb) Fryrear; dearest sister of William Fryrear (wife Jean, deceased), Mabel Cash (husband William, deceased), and the late Albert Fryrear (wife Margaret, deceased) and Sylvia Peters (husband Pete, deceased); adored aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Ruth lived a full and extraordinary life.  She was beautiful, kind, giving, loving, very hard working, dedicated, fun to be around, strong willed and always had a great story to share about her life’s experiences.  She took pride in her homes, many of which she had designed herself.  She loved to travel, talk politics and was even a Whiskey Taster and Taxi Driver long ago.  She will be remembered fondly, always in our hearts and missed greatly.  During these unprecedented times, services will be private.  Thank you to DeJohn Funeral Homes for making the arrangements.  A special thank you to Dawn Gardner, Ruth’s friend and caretaker, and to all the Hospice Nurses.  Ruth’s eternal resting place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
