RUDY SECIC age 70, beloved husband for 50 years of Vesna (nee Peovic); loving father of Sandra Ryans (husband Jamie, deceased) and Michelle Campolieti (husband Patrick); devoted grandfather of Kyla and Keenan Ryans and Caden, Calum and Keeley Campolieti; cherished son of the late Rasim and Marija (nee Vrban) Secic; dearest brother of Fatima Prpic (husband Ivan, deceased), John (wife Michelle) and the late Ivanka Secic; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.

Rudy was born on October 16, 1949 and passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2020. He was born in Linz, Austria, moved to Chile as a young boy and later moved to the United States in 1964. Rudy lived in Euclid and most recently resided in Richmond Heights with his wife, children and grandchildren. He grew up playing soccer for the Croatian Soccer Club and graduated from Benedictine High School where he was the kicker for the football team. Rudy was a dedicated, hard worker and retired from General Motors. He was and avid sports fan and loved watching soccer, the Browns and Indians. Above all, he truly loved watching all his grandkid’s sporting events. He was their biggest fan. Family meant everything to Rudy, from morning coffee at his house, to the endless cookouts where he enjoyed grilling. They were always together. Rudy had an unconditional love and support for everyone around him. He will be remembered most as a kind, easy-going man who always gave of himself. Rudy will be forever missed.

Private Family Mass and Burial. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rudy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY from 3-7 PM.
