RUDOLPH L. “RUDY” KOZAN age 88, beloved husband for 67 years of Alice (nee Kotwica); loving father of Rudy (wife Laureen), Karen Myers (husband Craig), Richard (wife Elizabeth), Craig (wife Judy), Kevin (wife Marie) and Michael (wife Susan) ; devoted grandfather of Shannon, Erin, Sarah, Jason, Christine, Kevin, Corey, Rudy, Caitlin, Gina, Emma, Dan, Grace, Chad, David, Dana and great-grandfather of 9; cherished son of the late Rudolph and Louise (nee Lipoglav); dearest brother of the late Doris Mulec (husband Donald); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Rudy was born on February 22, 1929 in Cleveland and passed away on August 5, 2017. He was a resident of Mentor formerly residing in Euclid. Rudy was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Zarja Singing Society and SNPJ. He graduated from East High School and Ohio Northern University. Rudy was a pharmacist and co-owner of Norwood Drug. He was a softball player, loved gardening, swimming, biking, and kayaking. Rudy served on the board of the Slovene Home for the Aged for over 30 years. He will be remembered most as a giving, selfless, social, generous and witty man. Rudy was very charismatic, loved people, was a hard worker, respectful and a gentleman. He will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St Vitus Catholic Church 6019 Lausche Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103 at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rudy at THE ZEVNIC-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
