Rudolph Gorican

RUDOLPH GORICAN age 89; loving father of Brigit Karabec (husband John), Daniel, Margaret Schroeck (husband John), and Michael; dearest grandfather of Samantha and Melissa Karabec and David and Rachel Schroeck; cherished son of the late Michael and Marija; devoted brother to 8 siblings.

Rudolph was born April 16, 1933 and passed away on March 2, 2023. He was a faithful member of St. Mary Collinwood for over 60 years and a member of the Slovenska Pristava club. Rudolph was a carpenter and retired from Euclid General Hospital after being a faithful employee for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling, wood working, swimming, gardening, driving his tractor around his property, and Slovenian music. Rudolph was hard working and generous. The things that gave him the most enjoyment out of life was staying busy and most importantly, his family.

Contributions may be made in memory of Rudolph to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Collinwood.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Collinwood, 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110 at 10 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rudolph at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), FRIDAY 5-7 PM.
