Rosina (Rose) Drenski (nee Caligiuri/Ziamba) age 95, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt born to Maria and Vincent Caligiuri (nee Vincenzo). Rosina passed away peacefully at home on May 11th, 2024. She was born in Brown town, Pennsylvania on October 6, 1928, and graduated early from Avella High School in 1945. She moved to Detroit, later Cleveland and then called Willoughby Hills home for the last 55 years. There she was a founding member and longtime president of VFW Auxiliary #4358 as well as a founding member of St. Noel Church. She was devoted to her faith and attended mass regularly. Rosina has two children: Regina Thirion (George-deceased) and John Ziamba (Cindy). She married the late Norbert Drenski, and she was blessed with six stepchildren: Sandy, Larry, Norbert, Cindy, Tim, and Sue. She retired from Lucas Machinery after many years working as a bookkeeper. She was a very social person, caring for many kinds of people throughout her life, her home was always open and welcoming to family and friends alike. Everyone looked forward to her large clam bakes every year. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening, bowling, and traveling the world with family and friends. She found joy in bird watching, crossword puzzles, board games, and playing cards. Rose made friends easily nobody was ever considered a stranger and she welcomed everyone with the best hugs. She was the glue that held her large family together and her greatest joy was watching her (21) grandkids and (29) great grandkids grow.

Rose was preceded in death by great granddaughter Lillina Helen Rose Cichon, her sister Serafina “Fanny” Whitco and two brothers Leonard and Danny Caligiuri.

Devoted Grandmother of Mark Federici (Mary Anne), George Thirion, Jr. (Wendy), Karina Paternite (Robert), Jason Thirion, Jesalina Cichon (Matthew) Garrett Jerousek, Joshua Ziamba (Nichole), Kristina Brubaker (Chris), Cheri Ziamba, Rosina Asch (Kyle), Caleb Ziamba, Matthew Ziamba (Madeleine), Faith Ziamba, David Drenski (Betsy), Denise Drenski, Scott Drenski (Gabrielle), Stacey Drenski, Drew Baker, Stephanie Baker, Randy Baker, Daniel Baker.

Beloved Great Grandmother of Cecelia, Luke, Troy, Jack, Enzo, Jalyssa, Grayson, Nico, Ethan, Christian, Jonah, Ryan, Dominick, Evan, Mya, Chase, Ben, Macie, Elijah, Norah, Ellie, Logan, Max, Miles, Seth, Juliana, Lilah, Samantha, and Lillian.
 
Lastly, she, Jelly Bean,  leaves behind her beloved caretaker Merlene.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 20, 2024 at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, OH at 11:00 AM. Burial following at Mentor Municipal Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rosina at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2-7PM.
