Rose was born on November 27, 1922 in Boston Massachusetts and passed away on February 1, 2019. At the age of 5, her family settled in the Detroit area where she quickly made some beautiful lifetime friends. She married Lou, the love of her life, in 1949 and set up home in Cleveland with him. They raised their 5 children in Euclid. Her beloved husband passed away suddenly in 1970 leaving her to raise her children on her own. She accepted her fate with much grace and determination and vowed that she would give her children the love, faith and strength they would need to become the best at life. She succeeded in her goals. She enjoyed her work with her father in their family market in Detroit and later in life, her retail work at May Company. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rose loved listening to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, loved playing the slot machines in casinos. She deeply cherished her Christian faith, family, and the memories made with them. Rose was a gentle, kind, strong and independent woman. She accepted the fate that God bestowed on her knowing the challenges a single parent will endure. The family wishes to thank all of the people who have kindly played a role in her life, especially her Christian family at St William and Robert Church. Rose will be dearly missed by all, but her lessons in life will live on forever.
