ROSEMARY PAE age 76, beloved wife for 10 years of Louis Duchez; loving mother of Christina (Zeev Friedman) Ross, Marissa Ross, Ann Duchez, Lynn (Mike) Bycko, and Louis Jr. Duchez; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine (nee O’Connell) Pae; dearest sister of Wayne (Joyce) Pae and Joanne (Rick) Hughes; dear friend to many.
Rosemary was born on May 27, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio and has remained a lifelong resident of Cleveland Heights. She graduated from Beaumont High School and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University. Rosemary was a member of the St. Ann’s Book Club, cherishing the friendships she made within the group, and volunteered as an usher at Severance Hall. Rosemary took her daughters on many road trips while they were growing up, which instilled a love for travel within themselves. She loved to travel and continued to do so by herself and with her husband, whom she married on May 3, 2013. She enjoyed cooking with Louis and spending time tending to both her vegetable and flower gardens. Rosemary was altruistic and a true mother figure to all. It was no surprise that she cared more about the well-being of everyone around her as she battled and survived breast cancer over 20 years ago. On January 24, 2024, this most generous and forgiving woman earned her rest.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rosemary to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Celebration of Life Service Friday, February 2, 2024, at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME.
