ROSEMARY A. LUKSIC (nee Madda) age 78; beloved wife of the late Mark; loving mother of Paula, Michelle Labbato (husband Carmen), Louis (wife Karen), and Roseann Higgins (husband Michael); devoted grandmother of Megan, Daniel, Kevin, Kaleen, Crystal (Shawn), Marietta (Perriee), Carmen, Mark, Brianna, Allison, Kirsten, Samantha, Sean and great-grandmother of 6; cherished daughter of the late Louis and Beatrice (nee Kercher) Madda; dearest sister of Louise Franzolino (Albert, deceased), Donna Gron and the late Pearl Roland (Chris, deceased) and Margaret Satola (Milton, deceased); fond sister-in-law of Magdalene Szczechowski, Betty Luksic, Rose Marie Luksic, Jeanne Trebisky and the late Dorothy Luksic; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rosemary was born on December 21, 1937 in Cleveland and passed away on December 6, 2016. She was a resident of Willowick for 24 years, formerly of Cleveland. Rosemary was a member of St. Jerome Church and St. Mary Magdalene Church where she was an active member serving where ever needed. Rosemary graduated from Villa Angela High School in 1956. She played and taught piano. Rosemary was a huge Cleveland Indians fan and liked to play slots. She adored her family and loved to spend time with them, especially her kids and grandkids. Rosemary will be remembered most as an angel who was generous, very patient, selfless, giving and full of acceptance. Her faith was strong as was her sense of family, she was Grandma Rosie to everyone. Rosemary will be dearly missed.

Contributions may be made in Rosemary’s memory to the Guadalupe Missioners Attn: Fr. Abraham Garcia Rojas 4714 W. 8th St., Los Angeles, CA 90005. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Jerome Catholic Church at 12:30 PM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rosemary at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD AND RT. 91) WILLOUGHBY HILLS on SATURDAY 3-6 PM and SUNDAY 3-7 PM.
