Rose Sadd

ROSE M. SADD (nee Shaheen) age 95, beloved wife of the late John A. Sr.; loving mother of David (wife Carole), Raymond (wife Donna), Patricia McCaffrey (husband Kevin), Rick (Julie), Cindy Uveges (husband Ken) and the late John (wife Betty) and Penny Crimaldi (husband Gary); devoted grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 25; dearest sister of Lucille Thomann (husband Richard, deceased), Evelyn Stalnaker (husband Richard, deceased), Fred Shaheen (wife Anne), Mary Giordano (husband Giacomo) and the late Josephine Genet (husband Frank) and Marie Sparrow (husband Lester, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rose was born on February 20, 1920 in Akron, OH. She passed away October 10, 2015 in Wickliffe, where she has lived for the past 56 years. Rose also lived previously in Euclid. She worked for more than 25 years in the Food Service and Management industry, retiring from Canterbury Golf Club. Rose was a member of the Immaculate Conception Sodality of St. Maron’s Parish where she participated in many parish activities. She also enjoyed Middle Eastern dancing, writing letters, sewing, Lebanese cooking and scrapbooking. Rose will be remembered as a selfless person, very caring and giving to others and devoted to our Lord. Her family will miss her “life of the party,” always smiling nature.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 15, 2015, at St. Maron Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rose at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM. Prayers of Incense at 7:00 PM.
