Rose O’Donnell

ROSE M. O’DONNELL (nee Magyar) age 78; beloved wife for 56 years of Lawrence “Larry”; loving mother of John (wife Patrice), Peg Osborne (husband Gary), Mary Kay O’Donnell (husband Chris) and the late Larry; devoted grandmother of Madeleine, Ian, Erin, Shane, Kathleen, Larry and Megan; cherished daughter of the late John and Margaret (nee Porinchok) Magyar; dearest sister of Clare Fanta, Marge Kromer, Dolores McGaffey and John Magyar; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rose taught 7th and 8th grade English at St. Felicitas/St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic minister. She graduated from Lourde Academy and received her Bachelors degree from Ohio University. Rose enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. She also loved watching sports. Spending time with her grandchildren gave her the greatest joy. Her family remembers her as warm and loving, she made people feel special and was a great homemaker. Her faith, her family and friends filled her with joy.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
