ROSE MARY SCAMINACE age 66, loving daughter of William and the late Sadie (nee Loparo) Scaminace; dearest sister of Joseph (Cindy Maglosky), Charles (wife Laura), and Mary Ellen Klingman (husband Mike); devoted aunt of Joseph (wife Lisa), Daniel (wife Corynn), Lindsey (fiancé David Ward), Bonnie Miller (husband Paul), Andrew and Kevin Klingman and great-aunt of 7; cherished niece of Mary, Santo, and Tony Loparo (wife Carol); dearest cousin and friend of many.
Rose was born on November 2, 1950 in Cleveland and passed away on December 4, 2016. She was a resident of Willoughby for 25 years, formerly of South Euclid. Rose was involved with Bible Study at St. Justin Martyr Church and a member of the Steven Ministry and a PSR teacher for St. Gregory the Great Church. She graduated from Brush High School in 1968 and worked as a beautician for Hairways. Rose was an avid reader and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. She will be remembered as a gentle soul, kind, generous and loving. Rose loved her family and friends, had a strong wit and a sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 8, 2016 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rose at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
