Rose Marie Paluf

ROSE MARIE PALUF (nee Papp) age 91, beloved wife for 70 years of the late George A.; loving mother of Sr. Donna, SND, Timothy (wife Darlene (nee Bozza)) and Karen Kruse (husband Kenneth); devoted grandmother of Timothy (wife Stacey), Christy Menzies (husband Nicholas), Ryan Paluf, Kevin Kruse (wife Amber), Kyle Kruse and great-grandmother of Adelaide, Bennett, Hannah, Timothy, Conor and twins Logan and Bryan; dearest sister of Irene and the late Robert Papp; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rose Marie was born on June 14, 1928 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 18, 2019. She grew up in Cleveland and resided in Solon for the past 27 years. Rose Marie graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1946 and worked as a bank teller for Ohio Savings Bank. She was a proud parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection and was active in their senior groups. Rose Marie adored traveling and taking bus trips to the casino with George to play the slot machines. She also enjoyed gardening, doing needle point and watching all Cleveland and Notre Dame sports. She was an avid reader and collected antiques. Rose Marie loved to decorate and had a true intuition for interior design and was a meticulous housemaker. She was devoted to her family and her faith and religiously prayed for everyone. Rose Marie will be remember most as being a kind and selfless woman who was very social, outgoing and beautifully dressed. She will be forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rose Marie to Sisters of Notre Dame, 13000 Auburn Rd., Chardon, OH 44024. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10AM at Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Rd., Solon, OH 44139. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rose Marie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
