Rose Marie Longo was born on June 26, 1958 in Cleveland and passed away on April 19, 2020. She was a 5-year resident of Brooklyn, and prior to that she lived in Willoughby Hills for many years. A graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Rose became an administrative Assistant for the City of Shaker Heights, and Red Seal Electric. While attending St. Vitus, she was a member of Pristava. Rose was a kind and gentle soul. She never took life for granted and knew how to appreciate the small moments in life. She loved the outdoors and the beauty of nature. She enjoyed crafts and the spirit of the holidays. She spread that joy through gifting ornaments to her family. Her joy will certainty continue to fill her loved one’s homes during the holidays with their collection of her ornaments. In every difficult situation anyone faced she was always there as a helper and she was an example of courage and compassion to everyone who knew her. Her kindness will always be remembered by everyone she touched. She was proud of her Slovenian heritage and found joy in the cooking, dancing, and history of her culture. The pride of her culture was passed down by her parents and will continue to remain strong in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Rose truly enjoyed the miracle of life and was a natural nurturer. She loved being a grandma and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her four beautiful grandchildren. Rose will be dearly missed.
