ROSE KISH (nee Hrutkai), age 85, beloved wife of the late Gus A.; loving mother of Gus (wife Kimberly) and Anne Presterl (husband Richard); devoted grandmother of Elizabeth and Marianne Presterl, and Tyler and Erica Kish; dearest great-grandmother of Colton Griffin; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Mary (nee Hilovosky) Hrutkai; dear sister of Frank, Margaret, Mary, and Jean.
Rose was born March 6, 1932 and died June 30, 2017. She graduated from Jane Addams High School, and was a lifelong resident of Euclid. She was a member of Ss. Robert & William Catholic Church for 55 years, and was active in the adult choir and the Altar Society. Rose loved to sew, crochet, and knit, and was fond of fishing, gardening, and long road trips. She enjoyed cooking and baking, along with singing and classical music. Rose’s family described her as loving, caring, protective, passionate, serious, and strong-willed. She was devoted to her husband and family and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rose to a charity close to your heart. Prayers of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:15AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Burial following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
