ROSE T. GERMANA (nee Gentile) age 90, beloved wife for 66 years of Frank R.; loving mother of Geralann “Gigi” Augusta (husband John) and Tina Linder; devoted grandmother of Matthew (wife Uniqua), Ryan, Joseph, and Alison Augusta, and Jared and Alyssa Linder; cherished daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” and Grace (nee Leonti) Gentile; dearest sister of the late Jeanette Falzarano, Fanny Carmigiano, and Joseph, Tony, Frank, and Michael Gentile; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rose to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192.

Rose was born in Cleveland on March 10, 1929 and passed away on January 31, 2020. She lived in Mayfield Heights for over 60 years, formerly of Cleveland. She attended John Adams High School and was a homemaker. Rose was a great cook and baker, and enjoyed reading, crochet, and shopping. She was quiet and reserved but also strong-willed and determined, and she loved to laugh. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rose at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
