Rose Campanella

ROSE A. CAMPANELLA (nee Fioretti) age 85, beloved wife of the late Peter; loving mother of Linda , Denise “Dee Dee” Semethy, and Nicollet “Nikki” Spiteri (husband John); devoted grandmother of Eric Pritchard (wife Tracy), Ashlee Brunello (husband Joseph), Jordan Semethy, and great-grandmother “GG” of Laine, Brennan, Santino, Silvio, and Sofia; cherished daughter of the late Nicola and Theresa (nee Agresta) Fioretti; dearest sister of Carmen “Skuzzy” Fioretti (wife JoAnn); dear aunt and great-aunt and cousin of many.

Rose was born on June 4, 1931 and passed away on October 27, 2016. She was a resident of Richmond Heights previously of Willoughby for 8 years. She attended Collinwood High School and went on to be an owner/operator as a hairdresser. Rose enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting. She was an avid reader and a big Tribe Fan. Rose enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Perry Como. Holiday cooking was special to her. She would stay up all night cooking while everyone else slept. We would wake up to the most amazing smells. Rose’s legacy is the love she had for her children. But her true joy was in the love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was strong willed, with a big heart. Rose was passionate, giving and generous and loved her family. Rose will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd Willoughby Hills, OH at 10 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rose at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 2-7 PM. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
