Ronald Ponn

RONALD L. PONN age 69, born on June 20, 1947 in Cleveland and passed away on November 8, 2016. He was the cherished son of Bonita (nee Craft) and the late John; dearest brother of John; treasured uncle of Brian (wife Bridget); dear great-uncle of Indica and Trevor.

Ronald was a life-long resident of Willoughby Hills. He graduated from Willoughby South High School in 1965 and John Carroll University in 1969. Ronald is a Hall of Fame member at Willoughby South High School for football. He worked at General Motors as an assembler. Ronald loved baseball and was an umpire for 25 years for high school and Little League. He also coached Little League baseball and football. Ronald was an Indians, Browns and Cavs fan. He tackled life with relentless humor and optimism. Ronald will be remembered by family and friends as kind, gentle, generous, caring and a great coach. He will be dearly missed.
