Ronald Mangan

RONALD J. MANGAN, age 74. Beloved husband for 52 years of Therese M. (nee Kelly). Loving father of Karen Roth (husband James), Brian (wife Tricia), and Sharon Strasshofer (husband Tom Jr.) Devoted grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Michelle, Kevin, Ben, Caroline, Abe, Eileen, Kenny, Thomas III, and William. Dearest son of the late Wilbert and Dorothy (nee Gottschalk). Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Ron was a member of the US Air Force and was a jet pilot who flew B-47 planes. Ron hobbies were his grandkids activities and he loved airplane and trains. His family remembers him as loving, caring and devoted to his family and friends. He was very intelligent, logical technical, and wise. Ron always gave good advise. He was an industrial engineer and was retired from Stouffer Foods.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Interment following at All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ron at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 2-5 and 6-9 PM.
