Ronald Knaus

RONALD E. KNAUS age 70; beloved husband for 25 years of Marjorie (nee Spinney); father of Malissa and Rabecca and step-father of Robert Novak (wife Rose) and Christine Mack (husband John); grandfather and great-grandfather; dear brother of Dennis (wife Mary Ann).

Ron was a resident of Euclid for 37 years after moving from Wickliffe. He was a member and usher at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, bowling, listening to music from the 50s and 60s and riding his Harley motorcycle. A graduate of St. Joseph High School and John Carroll University, Ron retired from teaching English in the Cleveland Heights and University Heights school systems. His greatest joys were spending time with his wife and their cat, Mitzi. He will be fondly remembered as a good husband who was proud, caring, loving, giving, very faithful and felt strongly about education.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ron’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service in Ron’s memory will be Monday, September 29, 2014 at 7 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ron at the FUNERAL HOME MONDAY 5-7 PM.
